Accomodation

The Back Cove listed here for sale has a large cabin incorporating a galley with an electric fridge and microwave, a comfortable saloon that converts into a superior double bed, plus spacious heads with a hot shower. All cushions are finished in deep blue. In the cockpit, there is comfortable seating for 8 adults and the cockpit floor lifts up to provide excellent access to the Yanmar 6LP diesel. This Back Cove 29 is also fitted with extra batteries for the services and onboard fridge.

Navigation Equipment

This Back Cove 29 is fitted with a Simrad VHF and plotter, plus full engine instruments. A helm trim package was also ordered from new, providing extra stainless trim and grab handles, plus upgraded captain chairs on both the port and starboard sides.

Deck Equipment

On deck, the Back Cove 29 has extra wide 14" side decks incorporating an anti-slip finish, a modified stainless twin bow roller with an electric windlass, a huge anchor locker for fender storage and stainless guard rails. A new canopy canvas rear pack was made and installed in 2020 by SKB Sails, Penryn.

Safety Equipment

The Back Cove 29 listed here has an upgraded stainless anchor roller system with twin anchor rollers and an electric windlass with foot pedal controls. There is a large fibreglass bathing platform incorporating a ladder installed aft (currently removed for detailing)

Rigging

The Back Cove 29 hull has a 16° deadrise at the transom and the propeller runs in a pocket for extra protection and reduced draft. This Back Cove 29 is also equipped with a Sidepower bow thruster and joystick controls. There is a UK shore power system installed. The Back Cove 29 is in the process of being detailed and polished and we have removed her bathing platform to complete the process.

Mechanical Systems

This Back Cove 29 is equipped with the larger Yanmar 315 horsepower, 6-cylinder diesel engine. She reaches a top end of 29 knots and will cruise very comfortably in the mid-20 knots.
